West Coast Challengers held the fourth installment of its “Come Mod Your Car Day.” Club members once again brought their cars out to perform minor modifications in a park atmosphere among friends and fellow Mopar enthusiasts. In a revolving location to bring this popular event close to all of the members in the club at one time or another, this time, the event was held at Lake Balboa in Van Nuys, CA.

Originally slated for Woodley Park where it all began, upon arriving we found a dog show had taken over the park, to the club re-routed to a contingency location across the way at Lake Balboa. Once settled in and chatting it up for a while, the members took to modding their cars. Several club members brought out their WebElectric sequential turn signal kits which were done side by side and were knocked out in quick succession.

Some other members helped Julie out with her Show & Performance painted coolant tank, which was also knocked out in short order.

After a few hours of modding our cars, it was time for lunch. The Bear Pit not far away was suggested for some great BBQ, so the group caravanned north along Sepulveda Boulevard. The caravan received a few thumbs up from fellow motorists along the way and well as causing some excited among those walking or waiting for buses when the caravan stopped a few red lights.

Another great event with Come Mod Your Car Day #5 already in the works.
